New Homes for All - Iverson to Memphis and Legends to the Hall of Fame

Published September 18, 2009

Iversonhof Over the past week we've seen a few notable players take up residence in new locations.

For one, Allen Iverson joined the Memphis Grizzlies and their young core of players in an effort to give the franchise a push toward the next step, with A.I. saying he'll be back and better than ever. You can be the first in your neighborhood to rock the new Iverson jersey, now available over at NBAStore.com!

And while Iverson tweeted away and left fans wondering where he'd finally sign, there were a few other players whose destinations we knew a long time ago. From the moment they retired, there was little doubt players like John Stockton, David Robinson, and the all-time great Michael Jordan would end up being permanent residents in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame - and sure enough, on Friday, they did just that.

Not to be overlooked are Jerry Sloane, Utah's head coach, and C. Vivian Stringer, Rutger's women's coach, who were also inducted. For those of you who might have missed it, the NBA has a great video to recap and countless highlights all uploaded on their YouTube page which you can check out here.

But for the rest of us who may not have the chance to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, there is always the next best thing which is to get all the gear - whether it be for this year's class or any other. NBAStore.com has you covered with all the latest in their Hall of Fame collection, or get even more nostalgic and check out the entire Hardwood Classics collection here.

But don't live in the past too much! The season's right around the corner!
